Evening Sunset
My children were playing outside the house, and suddenly my boy called me, "Mommy, there is orange sky."
I went out with my mobile camera to have a look at what was he trying to tell me. It was around 6:57PM...
Pretty view, isn't it? ^^

Leslie Cheung @ Seoul Song Festival 1979
I must say, this is totally new to my eyes.. 1979.. I was still a little kid, and I only knew him almost 10 years after that!!
Although this video looks a bit weird now and very much out of sync, but nevertheless, I'm thrilled to see the "legend" during his younger days.

Remembering the late Leslie Cheung
Leslie Cheung was the very first singer I love very much when I was a teenager. He has a wonderful voice and an awesome dancer. 01-Apr-2003 was a shocking day for me when I learned that he jumped to his death. A great loss to the entertainment industry. Now, the only memories left can only be found from fans sharing on the internet.
Searching here and there, I find that there are lots of videos I have not seen before. This is one of them. It is from a variety show called "Lee Sola's Proposal". I was not even aware that Leslie was very famous in South Korea back in the 90's.
Anyway, I love this video for Leslie's impromptu dance with the MC, and also the song he is singing is one one of my favourite - "A Thousand Dreams of You". These add up together put a wide grin on my face. ^_^
He remains a legend in my heart. Enjoy!

18-Feb-2011
This is the last day of Lunar New Year celebration. The 15th day and here we call it "Chap Goh Mei". It is also Chinese Valentine's Day. For me, it's nothing really special apart from the roar of fireworks and firecrackers starting early evening until right before midnight marking the end of celebration.
Well, as I go out and pick hubby up from office, I thought the view of the clouds in the sky in shades of grey, white and blue was pretty. So, I just snap away... only to realised there's sort of a heart shaped ring there after that.
And my 7 year old girl snap away with my mobile camera too as I drove along Jalan Penrissen.

Drove along with hubby to the airport on the evening of 14-Feb as he needs to pick up his boss. Took the opportunity to snap the late sunset view with my mobile camera while waiting. ^ ^

View from Padang Jubilee
Not long ago, I have this urge to snap away scenary views. I won't say I am very interested in photography, but it's just that I feel like capturing that moment.
Since 21-April-2010 was the school Sport's Day, I get to snap here and there.

Rainbow circle around the sun
Well, I figure out this would be my first post to this blog. Something I saw quite a while back.. In fact almost a year ago.
This is something which doesn't appear too often... something which some people has seen way before I did, but I have never witness it for myself until one late morning on 21-April-2010. It was the kids' school Sports Day and the event was held at Jubilee Ground stadium.
It was almost noon time, and my son stared up to the sky covered by the roof of the grand-stand at the stadium. And he shouted, "Mommy! Rainbow!!" I was questioning myself why is there rainbow on a bright sunny day and it's situated above instead of at the side, front or back. Eventually I realised it is circling the sun. Managed to take some photo at the same time.
It looks like a full 360° rainbow ring, and I was not satisfied with photos taken from under the shade of grand-stand, so I went out to the field and simply clicked away as I couldn't really see my target due to the very bright glare from the sun, and it's like on top of my head. Fortunately, the photo came out fine. ^^
This phenomenon lasted for about an hour as the rainbow circle slowly covered by clouds as the sky turns cloudy.
